ARTIST STATEMENT
My artwork is a visual exploration of the deep-seated traumas that shape the modern human experience. I delve into themes of gender violence, the imbalance of masculine and feminine energy caused by patriarchal oppression, the lasting scars of trauma in its many forms, and the profound effects of humanity on nature.
My work also serves as a call for healing, drawing upon divine feminine energy, goddess archetypes, as well as many other visual markings in intricate, rhythmic patterns that weave together symbolism, emotion, and spiritual resonance.
I see the canvas as a reflection of the soul—each stroke a record of events that shape and redefine its expression. My use of color carries its own symbolism, acting as an emotional language that shifts and evolves throughout the creative process. Though my work is rooted in pain and struggle, it is also a celebration of resilience, renewal, and the interconnectedness of all life.
Through this visual dialogue, I invite viewers to confront, reflect, and find solace in the transformative power of art.
